A radical rework of classic denim, this cropped jacket from Studio Rundholz DIP fuses vintage reference with post-industrial edge. Crafted from soft, distressed-dyed cotton with a washed, time-worn finish, each piece is uniquely treated — ensuring no two jackets are exactly alike.

The front nods to traditional denim styling with chest pockets and a button placket, yet the silhouette disrupts expectation through its extreme cropped length and sculptural proportion. Asymmetries, visible stitching, and directional volume speak to DIP’s experimental design language.

A defining feature lies in the sleeves: striking leather lace-up ties run along the back, introducing tension and subtle rebellion into the classic framework. Sculptural folds at the front pockets add dimension, while the washed dye technique creates depth and movement — as though the jacket has travelled from a post-industrial future into the present.
